Thrivent Month

January is Thrivent Month at Bethel. During the month of January, Bethel will be working to help our members become Thrivent Associate members. Thrivent will award Bethel with $250 of grant money for every Associate Membership that is completed (and grant application processed.) Associate Memberships are only $19.95 annually and do not automatically renew. Please join us at one of our information sessions for more information on this program. We will have people on hand in January to help you apply. Our goal is 40 members!

THRIVENT INFORMATION SESSIONS:

Sunday, January 12 and Sunday, January 26, 2025

9:30-9:45 am in the Parlor

Thrivent Action Teams

Live Generously is the tagline for a program called “Thrivent Action Teams.” These teams are a part of Thrivent Financial’s strategy to give back to the broader community through our hands and feet and creative ideas. Each $250 Thrivent Action Team Grant is awarded for service projects, educational events, or fundraisers that excite you. Projects that are approved (by Thrivent Financial) receive a $250 gift card that can be used for your project.

As we enter 2025, we want to invite more people into participating in Thrivent Action Teams and to Live (more) Generously! In January, Bethel has a goal of signing up 30 Associate Members of Thrivent Financial in order to help us give back to the community and to bring your ideas to life!

Before worship on January 12 and 26 we will offer a brief presentation about Thrivent Action Teams, and following worship on those days we will have someone at Fellowship Time to help get you signed up to be an Associate Member of Thrivent Financial.

All Thrivent members* are eligible for two $250 Thrivent Action Team Grants EVERY YEAR! Anyone who is not a Thrivent member can purchase an annual Associate Membership for $19.95 and qualify for one yearly $250 Thrivent Action Team Grant. (Associate members do not need to own a Thrivent Financial Asset.)

Peace and Joy to you,

Rev. Michelle

*To be a Thrivent member, you need to own a Thrivent Financial Asset such as life insurance, an annuity account, or a money market account, for example. If you are interested in this, Pastor Michelle can help connect you with a Thrivent Financial Advisor.
